Let’s dive into the delectable world of creamy pasta perfection!

Ingredients

5 medium onions, sliced
Seasonings (adjust to taste):
1 ½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1/3 cup Olive Oil
1 package Cream Cheese
1 bulb of Garlic, cut open
1/2 cup Dried Tomatoes
1/3 cup Chopped Parsley
2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
1 package bow tie pasta, cooked
1 cup Roasted Chickpeas (optional, for extra protein)

Instructions

1
Preheat the Oven to 482°F (250°C) for the optional roasted chickpeas.
2
For the optional roasted chickpeas: Drain and rinse chickpeas, then pat them dry. Toss chickpeas with olive oil, salt, and your choice of seasonings. Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through. Let chickpeas cool before adding to the dish.
3
Add the sliced onion, spices and olive oil into a baking dish and toss to combine. Place the cream cheese and garlic on top of the onions and roast in a 400 degree for about 30 minutes or until onions have caramelized. Remove from the oven and remove the garlic (squeezing out the roasted garlic) and mix the onions, cream cheese together to combine.
4
Once the cream cheese is incorporated and a creamy sauce has been made, stir in the cooked bow tie pasta and stir to combine. Add all other ingredients stirring to combine.
5
Serve hot and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
6
Enjoy the creamy indulgence of your Caramelized Onion and Garlic Pasta creation!
