Red Curry Paste Chicken Wings

How to Make Red Curry Paste

Ever wonder how they make delicious red curry paste? This recipe makes about a cup and can be used for an easy marinade or salad dressing base. Be creative and add delicious flavor to all kinds of your favorite foods with my red curry paste!

Ingredients

1/2 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tbsp turmeric
2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp lemon-grass paste
1 red bell pepper, seeds removed and coarsely chopped
1 tbsp freshly minced ginger-root
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lemon zested and juiced
1 lime zested and juiced
6 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
Salt to taste

Instructions

1
Place the coriander, cumin and turmeric into a sauté pan and toast the spices. Be careful, this will be very fragrant and may cause some coughing.
2
Add the ingredients into the bowl of your food processor with the blade attachment. Puree everything together until well blended.
3
Transfer the red curry paste into an airtight container and use as needed. I like to rub the red curry paste of chicken wings and bake them off. Serve them as appetizers with your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy!
