Peanut Butter Cookies with Nutella

Peanut Butter Cookies with Nutella

I love peanut butter cookies and decided to mix Nutella into the dough to create a hybrid peanut butter cookie. These delicious cookies will be a new favorite for you and your family!

Ingredients

1/2 cup room temperature butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup Nutella
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 large egg
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups flour

Instructions

1
Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s.
2
In the bowl of your mixer, add the room temperature butter, peanut butter, Nutella, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Cream everything together until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes), scraping down the sides as needed.
3
Add the egg, baking powder and salt. Throughly combine everything together until well blended.
4
Add the flour and mix together until well combined.
5
Remove the cookie dough from the mixer bowl and roll it into an even rope, cut the rope into 2 dozen even portions. Roll each dough portion into a ball and place 12 dough balls onto a parchment lined baking sheeting. Repeat on a second parchment lined baking sheet for the other dozen.
6
Using a fork, carefully press the dough ball down to about 1/2 and inch thick. Turn the fork and press on top of the cookie dough so you have “criss cross” pattern and the cookies are smashed down.
7
Place the prepared cookies into the oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them fully cool on the baking sheet before removing. Depending on how thick the cookie is may require additional cooking time, simply adjust as needed.
8
Once the cookies have cooled, remove, serve and enjoy!
