Zucchini Poppers

Zucchini Poppers

Anything with bacon is delicious and these zucchini poppers are no exception to that. A twist on the classic jalepeño popper, this yummy idea is a party favorite. Use any kind of small summer squash, egg plant, pepper or anything you want to stuff. Enjoy!

Ingredients

4 small zucchini
2 pkg cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded cheese
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
8-9 slices bacon
2 tsp season salt
1 tsp black pepper
olive oil

Instructions

1
Preheat your oven to 400 degree’s.
2
Slice the tops and bottoms off of the zucchini and cut them in half lengthwise.
3
Using a spoon, scoop out the seeds leaving a place to spoon the filling in.
4
Place the prepared zucchini on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
5
Place the zucchini in the oven for 10 minutes, remove and set aside.
6
In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, shredded cheese, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic and the shredded cooked chicken mixing everything together to combine.

8
Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the bacon is cooked. Serve and enjoy!
