Blue Cheese Stuffed Dates wrapped in Bacon

Blue Cheese Stuffed Dates Wrapped in Bacon

These delicious dates are some of the tastiest appetizers I’ve ever tried. Easy to make and show stopping, these blue cheese stuff dates wrapped in bacon will be a show stopper at your next party!

Ingredients

12 dates, pits removed
1/3 cup blue cheese
6 strips bacon, cut in half
Oil for frying
Toothpicks

Instructions

1
If needed remove the pits from the dates. Fillet the dates open lengthwise without cutting them in half.
2
Add the blue cheese to a bowl and mix it together to soften it if needed.
3
Divide the blue cheese between the dates, close them up and wrap in one of the strips of bacon.
4
Using a toothpick, secure the bacon strip around the prepared date.
5
Heat about 2 inches of oil in a pan to 350 degreeā€™s. Carefully place the prepared dates into hot oil and deep fry for a couple of minutes or until the bacon is cooked and crispy around the blue cheese stuffed date.
6
Serve with your favorite dip (I like Ranch dressing) on the side and enjoy!
