Fish Fillet Sandwich with Avocado Tartar Sauce

Fish Fillet Sandwich with Avocado Tartar Sauce

I love fish fillet sandwiches! You can use salmon, cod, halibut or any kind of fish fillet to enjoy this simple sandwich. Partnered with an avocado tartar sauce this sandwich will be a favorite for years to come!

Ingredients

4 fish fillets, 8-10 oz each
2-3 eggs
1 cup flour
2 cups panko bread crumbs
4 slices cheese
1 cup prepared tartar sauce
1 ripe avocado
Lettuce
Buns

Instructions

1
I’ll use any kind of fish fillets (cod, salmon, halibut…) and make sure the filets are patted dry.
2
Dip the fish fillets in flour, egg and then the panko bread crumbs making sure the fish is well coated.
3
Deep fry or air fry the fish fillets until they are golden brown and cooked through. If air frying, be sure to lightly spray the fish fillet with vegetable oil before placing it in the air fryer.
4
To make the avocado tartar sauce, smash a ripe avocado in a bowl and add the prepared tartar sauce. Mix together to combine.
5
Toast the buns if desired and spread the avocado tartar sauce on the buns. Top with a cooked fish fillet, slice of cheese and a leaf of lettuce. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
