Ingredients

500 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour
350 grams (1 3/4 cups) water, adjust as needed
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp yeast
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
For the BBQ Sauce: 4-6 roma tomatoes
5-6 garlic cloves
1/2 onion
1 cup fresh basil leaves
1 1/2 cups sour cream
2 cups prepared BBQ sauce
For the Toppings: 4 cups cubed pork belly, fried to crispy perfection
2-3 bell peppers, diced
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
Shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1
Begin by preparing the dough. Combine all-purpose flour, water, sugar, yeast, olive oil, and salt in your bread machine. Mix and knead the dough for approximately 10 minutes. Cover and allow it to double in size.
2
In a blender, combine roma tomatoes, garlic cloves, onion, fresh basil leaves, sour cream, and BBQ sauce. Blend until a smooth and flavorful sauce is achieved. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3
Divide the prepared dough into two equal portions and roll each half into an 18-inch round.
4
Place each pizza round on a baking sheet or pizza stone for ease of handling.
5
Spread about a cup of the prepared BBQ sauce evenly on each pizza round, followed by a generous sprinkling of mozzarella cheese.
6
Distribute your choice of toppings, including the crispy pork belly, bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms, across the two pizza rounds. Top with an additional layer of mozzarella cheese.
7
Bake your pizzas in a preheated 450-degree oven, preferably on a pizza stone, for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling, and the crust turns golden brown.
8
Remove from the oven, slice, and serve your mouthwatering Crispy Pork Belly BBQ Pizza.
