Ingredients

12 ounces shredded cooked beef Chuck Pot Roast
1 cup sliced green bell pepper
1 cup sliced onion
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Hot cooked rice, black beans, and lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

1
Begin by combining the shredded beef Chuck Pot Roast, sliced green bell pepper, sliced onion, fresh lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and ground black pepper in a large bowl. Allow the mixture to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes or for up to 1-1/2 hours.
2
Heat a large, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until it's hot. Spread 1/3 of the marinated beef mixture in a thin layer in the skillet. Cook until it turns crispy in spots, turning it several times, which should take about 2 to 3 minutes. Once it's crispy, remove it from the skillet. Repeat this process twice with the remaining beef mixture.
3
Season the crispy beef with the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
4
Serve your delicious Crispy Cuban Shredded Beef with hot cooked rice, black beans, and lime wedges as desired.
5
Alternative Cooking Method: If you have an 8-quart Air Fryer, you can use it for this recipe. Heat the Air Fryer to 375°F, then spread 1/3 of the beef mixture in a thin layer in the basket. Cook until it turns crispy in spots, turning it several times, which should take about 6 to 8 minutes. Remove it from the basket and repeat this process twice with the remaining beef mixture. Season the beef with the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and you're ready to enjoy a crispy Cuban delight!
