Chicken Poppers
Here’s a fun dinner idea or a perfect appetizer for a party or get together of family and friends. How ever you choose to serve them, try mixing up the bbq sauces for a different flavor profile.
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp seasoning sauce (I use Golden Mountain)
1 tsp season salt
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 cup bbq sauce
Oil for deep frying
Instructions

Cut the chicken breasts into bite size pieces and place them in a large bowl.

Sprinkle the chicken pieces with the garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, seasoning sauce and season salt. Toss to coat everything together.

Whisk the eggs in a bowl and dip each chicken piece in the egg and dregs in the flour. Repeat the egg dipping and dredging.

Heat the oil to about 350 degree’s and deep fry until the chicken pieces are golden brown.

Heat the bbq sauce in a sauce pan to a boil. Add the cooked chicken poppers to the bbq sauce and stir to coat.

Serve the chicken poppers with your favorite sides and enjoy!
