Wilted Greens
Greens like chard are so good for you. Quickly sautéing them or wilting, keeps flavor and creates a delicious side dish for any dinner. I served these wilted greens with my Ranch Baked Pork Chops and Cheesy Macaroni.
Ingredients
1 bunch red chard, washed
1 tsp season salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
3 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
1
Cut about 1/2 inch off of the “stem” ends of the chard if needed.
2
Slice the chard into small pieces.
3
Heat a large sauté pan on the stove and add the vegetable oil to it along with the chopped chard and seasonings.
4
Sauté the chard just until wilted, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and serve with your favorite entree’s. On my cooking show, “Cooking with Chef Bryan” I served these wilted greens with my Ranch baked pork chops and cheesy macaroni.
