White Bread
Knowing how to make basic white bread is not only a luxury but a must. This simple recipe will put you on the road to bread success!
Ingredients
7 cups flour
2 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp instant yeast

Add all ingredients into the bowl of your mixer and mix/knead for 20 minutes.

If you are using active dry yeast, first dissolve the yeast in the 2 1/2 cups water for 10 minutes before adding everything together.

Spray a large bowl with vegetable spray and shape the dough into a large round and place it in your prepared bowl. Spray the top of the dough with vegetable oil to prevent it from drying out. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let it double in size in a warm, draft free area of your kitchen.

Once the dough has doubled in size, remove the dough to your work surface and divide into 2-3 equal portions, depending on the size of your bread pans.

Spray your bread pans with vegetable spray and set aside until ready to use.

Gently shape each dough portion into loaves and place the seam side down into your bread pans. Spray the dough with vegetable spray, loosely cover with plastic wrap and let it double in size again.

Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s.

Place the prepared loaves into your pre-heated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven. Remove the loaves from the bread pans and place them on a cooling rack. Let the loaves cool, eat and enjoy!
