Valentine Butter Cookies

Valentine Butter Cookies

These delicious cookies can be decorated easily by dipping them in chocolate and finishing with sprinkles. Try them for you sweetheart!

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp
2 large egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/3 cup milk

Instructions

Add the softened butter and sugar into the bowl of you mixer and cream together for about 2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.

Add the egg yolks and vanilla mixing throughly scraping down the sides as needed.

Add the flour and milk. Through mix everything together scrapping down the sides to throughly blend everything together.

Transfer the dough to a large piping bag with a large star tip. The dough should be soft enough to pipe out easily. If the dough isn’t soft enough add more milk 1 tbsp at a time until the dough is soft enough to easily pipe out the dough so it keeps it shape.

Pipe the dough into rounds onto 2 parchment lined baking sheets and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for approximately 15 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges.

Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the cookie sheet.

Once the cookies are cooled, decorate as desired. Enjoy!
