Ingredients

1 pound ground pork
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
For the Toppings: 4 burger buns
4 slices of cheddar cheese
Lettuce leaves
Sliced tomatoes
Sliced red onions
Pickles
Mayonnaise
Ketchup
Mustard

Instructions

Prepare the Patties: In a large bowl, combine ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.

Cook the Patties: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Place lettuce leaves on the bottom buns. Add the pork patties with melted cheese on top of the lettuce. Top with sliced tomatoes, red onions, and pickles. Cover with the top half of the buns.
