Thai Basil Chicken Stir-Fry
A bold and aromatic Thai dish featuring ground chicken, fresh basil, and a savory umami sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1 cup fresh basil leaves
1 small red bell pepper, sliced
1 small red onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cups cooked jasmine rice (for serving)
Instructions

Sauté aromatics: Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Sauté garlic and red onion until fragrant.

Cook chicken: Add ground chicken, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.

Add vegetables and sauce: Stir in red bell pepper, soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 3 minutes.

Finish and serve: Stir in fresh basil until wilted. Serve over jasmine rice.
