Taco Pasta Casserole
Dinners can be delicious and easy to make. This taco pasta casserole is a snap for dinner. It only takes about 45 minutes and makes enough to easily feed a large family with leftovers.
Ingredients
1 pound package egg noodles
1 pound lean ground hamburger
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 pound frozen mixed vegetables
4 cups shredded Mexican style cheese
4 cups milk
1/2 cup flour
4 eggs
1 cup Italian flavored bread crumbs
1 cup Panko bread crumbs
Cooking oil
Salt and Pepper as needed
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s.

Cook the egg noodles as directed on the package directions, drain and set aside.

Heat a large sauté pan on the stove and add enough oil to lightly coat the bottom of the the pan.

Add the hamburger to the pan and throughly cook through. Add the package of taco seasoning to the cooked hamburger and mix into the hamburger.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, cooked taco meat and the frozen mixed vegetables. Gently mix together until combined.

Spray a 9x13 baking dish with vegetable spray and layer half of the noodle mixture into the pan. Sprinkle the noodles with half of the cheese and top with the other half of noodles and cheese.

In a mixing bowl, whisk the milk, eggs and flour together. Pour the milk mixture over the noodles.

Mix the two bread crumbs together and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.

Place the casserole on a large baking sheet (into the oven) to catch any drippings while it bakes.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the bread crumbs have browned and the casserole is bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes, serve with your favorite condiments and enjoy!
