Summer Soda Drinks
As a child, my great-grandmother would take me every weekend to the soda fountain at the local drug store. While at the time I didn’t appreciate or realize the piece of history I was experiencing, once thing I now know is your can make your own soda drinks at home!
Ingredients
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup mandarin orange puree
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup fresh peach puree
1/2 cup fresh pineapple puree
vanilla extract
Instructions

For a malibu flavored Dr. Pepper, fill a 2 cup glass with ice. Add 1 tbsp of coconut milk along with 1 tsp vanilla extract. Using a long spoon, stir together with the ice. Pour the Dr. Pepper over the ice, serve and enjoy. If needed, gently stir together.

For a coconut lime refresher, fill a 2 cup glass with ice. Add 1/4 cup fresh lime juice along with 1/4 cup coconut milk. Using a long spoon stir together with the ice and pour a cola (can use diet too) drink over the ice, serve and enjoy. If needed, gently stir together.

For a peachy sprite, fill a 2 cup glass with iced. Add 1/4 cup pineapple puree along with 1/4 cup peach puree. Stir everything together with the ice. Pour the Sprite over the ice, serve and enjoy. If needed, gently stir together.

For a Florida splash, fill a 2 cup glass with ice. Add 2 tbsp mandarin orange puree, 2 tbsp fresh lime juice, 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice. Using a long spoon, mix everything together. Pour the Sprite or 7-UP over the ice, serve and enjoy. If needed, gently stir together.
