Steak Fondue with Queen Bee Porcini Cheese
This delicious fondue is made using Beehive Cheese’s award winning Queen Bee Porcini cheese. You’re gonna love the earthy overtones and perfect texture to dip your favorite fondue items into it or simple spoon it over your steak. For more ordering infomartion, go to the Beehive Cheese website.
Ingredients
4 beef steaks
1 medium onion, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 cups or one small package baby bella mushrooms, cleaned
1/2 french baguette, cut into bite size pieces (about 4 cups)
1 cup white wine
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
12 oz Queen Bee Porcini cheese, grated
Olive oil
Sides of choice
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Season the steaks with your favorite steak seasoning and grill off to desired donees.

In a large saute pan, add enough olive oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan. Add the sliced onion, garlic, baby bella mushrooms and bread pieces to the pan and saute for about 5 minutes or until the onions are well caramelized. Remove from the heat and set aside.

In a sauce pan, add the white wine, dijon mustache Worcestershire sauce and the cornstarch. Whisk together to combine and bring the mixture to a boil white stirring.

Add the grated cheese and with a whisk, mix and stir until the cheese melts into the sauce and becomes smooth.

Serve the caramelized onion mixture over the steaks and spoon the fondue cheese sauce over the the steak. Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
