1 head cauliflower, florets
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup self rising flour
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp celery salt
1 cup water
1/3 cup hot sauce
2 quarts vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1
Preheat the oil to 350 degree’s.
2
Remove the florets from the cauliflower head, rinse and pat dry.
3
In a large bowl, whisk the cornstarch, self rising flour, garlic and onion powders, cayenne pepper, and celery salt together to combine.
4
Add the water and mix together into a batter. If needed add additional water to get the consistency of a batter.
5
Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter allowing excess batter to drip off. Add them to the hot oil and fry until they are golden brown (about 1 minute).
6
Place the fried cauliflower in large bowl and add the hot sauce (I use Franks Hot Sauce). Toss to coat. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
