These chipotle chicken tacos bring bold flavors with smoky spice and a creamy avocado topping.

Spicy Chipotle Chicken Tacos with Avocado Crema

Smoky, spicy, and irresistibly juicy, these chipotle chicken tacos are paired with a cooling avocado crema for the perfect balance of flavors.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken thighs

1 can chipotle peppers in adobo

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 avocado

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

Juice of 1 lime

8 small corn tortillas

1/4 cup chopped cilantro

1/4 cup diced red onion


Instructions

Marinate and Cook the Chicken: 
Blend chipotle peppers with olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Marinate chicken for 15 minutes, then grill or pan-sear for 5 minutes per side or until cooked through.

Blend avocado, Greek yogurt, and lime juice until smooth.
