Sautéed Pork Chops

Sautéed Pork Chops

Sautéing is a quick and easy way to make a delicious dinner. These sautéed pork chops with green beans and potatoes are a favorite at my house and so easy to make. Quick and easy is the beauty of this recipe.

Ingredients

4-6 bone in pork chops
4 cups parboiled green beans
4 Russet potatoes, peeled
2 cups prepared chicken pan gravy
Season Salt to taste
Cooking oil

Instructions

1
Snip and boil the green beans until they are al dente, strain and set aside.
2
Chop the peeled russet potatoes into bite size pieces and boil until fork tender. Strain and set aside.
3
Heat a large sauté pan on the stove. When the pan is hot add enough vegetable oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan.
4
Season the pork chops with your favorite seasoning and pan fry for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
5
Add the prepared green beans and potatoes to the hot pan (if needed, add additional cooking oil to the pan) and sauté to finish cooking the green beans and add some color to the potatoes.
6
Remove the sautéed green beans and potatoes from the pan and set aside.
7
To prepare a simple pan gravy, use a prepared chicken gravy mix and fortify it by adding sautéed mushrooms to it. Simply follow the directions to make the gravy in the pan, deglazing the pan with the gravy.
8
To serve place a portion or sautéed potatoes and green beans on the plate, place the sautéed pork chop on top and spoon the prepared gravy over top.
