Salted Caramel Brownies
When your pair easy, chocolate and caramel together what do you get…my amazing salted caramel brownies.
Ingredients
1 box brownie mix
3 cups prepared caramel
1/3 cup heavy cream
Large flake salt, if desired
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s.

Make the brownie mix according to the box directions.

Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper and spray the bottom of the pan.

Pour half of the brown mix into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly in the pan.

Divide the caramel in half and evenly distribute half of the caramel on top of the brownie batter. Pour the rest of the batter over the caramel pieces and spread the batter out to cover the caramel pieces.

Bake the caramel brownies for about 30 minutes in the oven or until they are fully cooked. Remove the brownies and let the cool completely.

In a large microwave safe bowl, add the remaining caramel and the heavy cream. Microwave for a couple of minutes and then stir the caramel and cream together. If needed, microwave for additional time.

Pour the caramel mixture over the top of the cooked brownies and sprinkle with the large flake salt (optional) and let the caramel set for about an hour. Slice and serve the brownies with your favorite ice cream and enjoy!
