Red, White and Blue Cereal Treats with Sherbet Frappe
Fun holiday treats don’t have to be complicated. These easy to make cereal treats and sherbet frappes are great for any holiday gathering!
Ingredients
For the Cereal Treats:
1 pkg mini marshmallows (10 ounce package)
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
5 cups Red, White and Blue Crunch®
For the Sherbet Frappe:
4 small scoops sherbet ice cream
4-6 cups strawberry soda
Instructions

Spray a 9x13 baking dish with vegetable oil and set aside. If you like thicker treats, simply use a smaller baking dish.

In a large microwave safe bowl, add the mini marshmallows and butter. Microwave for about 3 minutes (I like to do it 1 minute at a time and evaluate after each minute.)

Once the marshmallows and butter have melted, mix them until they are well combined. Add the vanilla and stir in.

To the melted marshmallow mixture, add the Red, White and Blue Captain Crunch cereal. Mix everything together until well combined.

Transfer the marshmallow mixture to your prepared baking dish (I like to spray my hands with vegetable oil to prevent the mixture from sticking to them). Press the mixture into the pan.

Let the treats cool, cut, serve and enjoy.

To make the sherbet frappe: Place a one sherbet scoop each into 4 small glasses. Fill the glasses with strawberry soda, serve and enjoy!
