Ragu Bolognese
This delicious ragu sauce is so fun to make and delicious to eat. I love using fettuccine pasta with this sauce and serve a fresh green salad and rolls on the side.

Ingredients
1 pound ground hamburger
1 pound ground pork
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup red wine (can use cooking wine)
3 cups tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 cup chicken stock
1 cup milk
1/4 cup Italian seasoning
1 pkg cooked fettuccine noodle (about 1 pound)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Brown the hamburger and pork together until fully cooked. If there is an excess of oil, drain off the oil.
2
Add the chopped carrots, onions, and celery and cook for about 5 minutes or until all of the water has evaporated.
3
Add the red wine and cook until most of it has evaporated.
4
Add the tomato sauce, chicken stock, milk and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 30 minutes.
5
Cook the pasta according to the package directions, drain and mix with the ragu sauce. Serve with fresh rolls and green salad on the side.
