
Pavlova
This delicious dessert made with Oakdell egg whites is high in protein, kid friendly and really easy to make. It’s the perfect dessert for that after dinner sweet tooth!

Ingredients
5 Oakdell egg whites
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp white vinegar
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Fresh fruit of choice
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 250 degree’s.

In the bowl of your mixer add the Oakdell egg whites, cream of tarter and vanilla. Using the whisk attachment, whisk the egg whites to soft peaks.

With the mixer running, slowly add the sugar until completely dissolved. Continue whipping to stiff peaks. Fold in the white vinegar and cornstarch until incorporated.

Place the meringue on a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread the meringue into a 7 inch circle, smoothing the edge.

Bake the meringue in your preheated oven for 1 hour. Turn the oven off and crack the oven door open. Let the pavlova cool in the oven.

When the pavlova is cooled, whip the whipping cream, sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla to stiff peaks.

Carefully spoon the whipped cream on top of the pavlova when cooled and finish with your favorite fruit. Cut like a pie, serve and enjoy!
