Ingredients

2 bone in pork chops
2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
4 cups milk
1 tbsp chicken bullion or 1 bullion cube
Season salt and pepper
Olive oil

Instructions

1
Sprinkle the pork chops with season salt and pepper and set aside.
2
Add the peeled and cubed potatoes to a large pot and cover with cold water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes or until the potatoes are fork tender. Drain and mash the potatoes, set aside.

While the potatoes are cooking, heat a large sauté pan on the stove and add enough oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan.
4
Pan sear the seasoned pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick) for bout 3-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
5
Remove the cooked pork chops from the pan and set aside. Add the butter and gently stir until melted. Add the flour to the melted butter and mix everything together.
6
Slowly whisk in the milk and add the chicken bullion. Mix everything together and bring the pan gravy to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer for about 2 minutes while gently stirring.
7
Serve the pan seared pork chops with mashed potatoes, the country gravy and your favorite vegetables on the side. Enjoy!
