Pan Fried Noodles with Beef
Here’s a delicious idea for dinner. If you don’t have rice noodles, use some left over spaghetti to save time and money.
Ingredients
1 pound chuck roast, cut into bitesize pieces
1/4 cup seasoning sauce (Golden Mountain brand)
2 tsp toasted sesame seed oil
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 small onion, sliced
1 bunch rice noodles, cooked
1 fish cake, sliced for garnish
1/4 cup kimchi, for garnish
Instructions
1
In a large bowl add the chuck roast pieces, seasoning sauce, sesame oil, pepper flakes and sliced onion. Toss everything together to combine. Let the meat marinade for 20 minutes.
2
While the meat marinades, cook the rice noodles according to the package directions, rinse and set aside.
3
Heat a large sauté pan on the stove and add enough olive oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan.
4
Add the marinaded beef to the pan and saute for 2 minutes, browning the meat. (On air, I deep fried the beef for a different twist. You you feel like heating up some oil to deep fry the beef...give it a try for a delicious twist.)
5
Add the cooked rice noodles and toss well to coat the noodles with the sauce and heat them thoroughly through with the beef.
6
Transfer to a large platter and garnish with sliced fish cake and kimchi. Enjoy!
