Italian Baked Pasta

Italian Baked Pasta

Simple to make and delicious to eat, this Italian baked pasta will be a new kitchen staple recipe for all of you!

Ingredients

1 package penne pasta, 1 pound
1 pound hamburger
1 can diced tomatoes, 28 ounce
1 cup greek style yogurt
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup Italian herb blend
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degreeā€™s.

Cook the pasta according to the package directions, rinse and transfer to a large bowl.

Cook the ground hamburger throughly. Strain the excess grease from the hamburger (rinse under hot water if necessary) and transfer to a large bowl with the pasta.

In a separate bowl, combine the can of diced tomatoes (juice and all), greek style yogurt, sour cream, shredded cheese and Italian herb blend. Mix everything together until combined. Salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the tomato mixture over the pasta and hamburger stirring to combine everything.

Spray a 9x13 baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray. Transfer the pasta mixture to the prepared baking dish. Cover loosely with foil.

Place the baking dish on a baking sheet and into your preheated oven. Bake for 30 minutes or until the mixture is bubbling and the cheese has melted.

Serve with your favorite garlic bread and enjoy!
