Irresistible Sweet Hawaiian Beef Sliders Recipe

Perfect for gatherings, parties, or a cozy family dinner, these sliders are a surefire crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

1 pound Ground Beef (95% lean)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 canned pineapple slices, drained
12 Hawaiian sweet or small whole wheat dinner rolls, split
Lettuce
Sauce: 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup pineapple preserves
1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine Ground Beef and Worcestershire sauce, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into twelve 1/2-inch thick mini patties and set aside.

In a small saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, pineapple preserves, and packed light brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.

Place patties on a grill over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill covered for 8 to 10 minutes (or over medium heat on a preheated gas grill, covered, for 9 to 11 minutes) until an instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into the center registers 160°F, turning occasionally.

While patties are grilling, brush pineapple slices with sauce and place them on the grill around the patties. Grill pineapple for 4 minutes, turning once and brushing with additional sauce. Remove pineapple and keep warm. Brush burgers with remaining sauce after turning.

Cut each pineapple slice into thirds. Line the bottom of each roll with lettuce, top with a burger, then add a pineapple piece. Close sandwiches and serve hot. Enjoy the tropical flavors of these Sweet Hawaiian Beef Sliders!
