Ingredients
1 Pound Ground Beef (93% lean)
2 teaspoons steak seasoning blend
1 Tablespoon olive oil
5 ounces portobello mushrooms
4 Swiss cheese slices
4 hamburger buns, split
4 lettuce leaves
4 tomato slices
2 jalapeno peppers
1/2 cup light mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
3 medium zucchini
Instructions
1
In a large bowl, mix Ground Beef and 2 tsp. steak seasoning until combined. Shape into four patties and set aside.
2
Heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Add olive oil and mushrooms, cooking for 4 to 5 minutes until tender. Set aside.
3
Grill the beef patties over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F, turning occasionally. In the last 2 minutes, place cheese slices on top of each patty.
4
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute.
5
For the Jalapeno Aioli, grill jalapenos for 5 to 6 minutes until charred. Let cool, then remove stems and seeds. Dice into 1/4-inch cubes and mix with mayo, lime juice, and salt. Set aside.
6
Cut zucchini into strips, coat with olive oil and steak seasoning, then grill for 4 to 6 minutes until soft.
7
To assemble, spread 1-2 tablespoons of Aioli on the top bun. Layer lettuce and tomato on top of the Aioli. Place the cooked patties with cheese on the bottom bun and top with sautéed mushrooms. Close the sandwich and serve with zucchini fries.
