Impossible Burger with Cauliflower Fries

Impossible Burger with Cauliflower Fries

Using a plant based meat can be delicious like my Impossible burger with cauliflower fries. This delicious recipe may change your mind about plant based meat substitutes.

Ingredients

1 pkg plant based meat product (12 ounces)
1 tomato, thinly sliced
1 small onion, sliced
4-5 slices American cheese
1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
1 cup flour
2 tsp each paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper
2 eggs
1 cup water (more or less)
oil for deep frying

Instructions

1
Divide the plant based meat into 3 equal portions (can do 4 if desired) and shape them into hamburger patties.
2
Grill the patties until they are cooked through (3-4 minutes on each side).
3
Build the hamburger patties with tomato, onions and lettuce if desired. I like to use thousand island dressing but you can use ketchup, mayonnaise or mustard if desired.
4
To make the the cauliflower fries, cut the cauliflower into small florets.
5
In a mixing bowl, add the flour and seasoning, whisk everything together to combine. Whisk in the eggs and water until it’s a pancake batter consistency.
6
Preheat the oil to about 375 degree’s, dip the cauliflower florets into the batter to coat and deep fry until they are golden brown. Remove and serve with your burgers with your choice of dipping sauce. Enjoy!
