Holiday Sugar Cookies
These cookies are hands down the most delicious sugar cookies ever.
Ingredients
1 cup softened butter
1-8 oz package softened cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cup sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
½ tsp almond extract
3 eggs
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 ¼ tsp salt
7 cups flour
Instructions

Cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, sour cream

Cream together butter, sugar, cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla and almond extract for about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs and beat until well combined, scrapping down the bowl ensuring even blending.

Add the baking powder and baking soda blending everything together.

Add the flour and careful mix everything together until combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Divide the dough in half and roll it out between to pieces of parchment paper. If needed, lightly flour the dough to prevent it from sticking to the parchment paper.

Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour. When chilled, remove the dough and cut into desired cookie shapes and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake the cookies in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until the edges start to turn brown.

Remove from the oven letting the cookies cool on a cooling rack. Frost the cookies with your favorite frosting and enjoy!
