Hamburger Soup
An easy to make ahead hamburger soup that can feed a cowboy on the range or your family at the dinner table. It keeps well refrigerated for a week in the refrigerator so make a big batch and enjoy the leftovers. Special thanks to Canyon Meadow Ranch for providing this recipe.
Ingredients
1 lb Ground Beef
1/4 cup Sweet Onions
1 can Cream of celery
1 can Cream of potato soup
1 cup hot water
1 tsp Sugar
1 Bay Leave
4 cups Tomato Juice, ( 32 oz or 1 qt )
1 cup Carrots
1 pkg Frozen Green Beans
2-4 medium potatoes
Salt & Pepper to taste
Garlic Powder or minced garlic
Instructions

1. Brown meat with onion, salt, pepper, and garlic. Drain

2. Place meat back in pot and add all other ingredients, simmering until veggies are tender and flavors have melded. ( about 15-30 min )
