Guacamole Burger and Salsa Hot Dogs

Guacamole Burgers and Salsa Hot Dogs

These are delicious twists on the classic hamburger and hot dogs. Grill these up for your next party to your guests delight!

Ingredients

1 pkg beef hot dogs
4 cups fresh salsa
1 pound ground hamburger
2 tbsp steak seasoning
2 ripe avocados
1 cup fresh pico de gallo
Hamburger buns
Hot Dog Buns

Instructions

To make the hot dogs, add the hot dogs and the fresh salsa to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Continue cooking until the hot dogs are hot and heated through.

Place the hot dogs in the buns and spoon the salsa over the hot dogs. If desired, sprinkle with grated cheese, melt and enjoy.

To make the guacamole, cut the avocados in half lengthwise, remove the pit and scoop out the “flesh” to a large bowl. Mash with a fork and add the fresh pico de gallo mixing everything together. Salt and pepper to taste.

Mix the hamburger and steak seasoning together and divide into four portions. Shape each portion into a hamburger patty and fully cook them.

Place the cooked hamburger on it’s bun with a large spoonful of fresh guacamole on top.
