Ingredients

1 boneless beef Strip Steak (about 1 pound)
1 package (8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
1 white onion, thinly sliced
1 ½ tbsp olive oil
½ cup sliced roasted red peppers
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
½ cup fresh arugula leaves
1 tbsp balsamic syrup
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1
Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add ½ tbsp olive oil and sliced onions. Cook for 8-10 minutes until onions are caramelized. Set aside.
2
On a greased sheet pan, shape the pizza dough to match the size of the pan. Brush both sides with ½ tbsp olive oil. Grill the dough on medium heat for 30 seconds to 1 minute on each side. Be cautious not to burn. Place the dough back on the sheet pan.
3
Top the flatbread with roasted red peppers and ¼ cup of blue cheese. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes until the cheese melts. Remove from the oven and set aside.
4
Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper. Grill the steak on medium heat according to desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into ½-inch strips.
5
Place caramelized onions, fresh arugula, sliced steak, remaining blue cheese, and drizzle balsamic syrup on the flatbread.
6
Cut into 6 squares and serve for a delightful meal.
