Ginger Spiced Cookies

Ginger Spiced Cookies

Here’s a quick and easy idea for holiday cookies, cake box ginger spiced cookies! Not only delicious, these cookies can be made fast for those holiday or last minute dinner guests!

Ingredients

1 box spiced cake mix
2 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
powdered sugar (optional)
cream cheese frosting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s.

In a large bowl, add the spice cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil and ground ginger; mix everything together until combined. The dough will be stiff.

Line a couple of baking sheets with parchment paper. Drop the cookies onto the baking sheet (about a dozen per baking sheet) and place them in the oven for about 10 minutes or until baked through.

To add a little variations, roll each ginger spiced cookie dough in powdered sugar before placing them on the baking sheet. Bake as usual.

Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet.

When cool, frost with your favorite cream cheese frosting (optional), serve and enjoy!
