Melon and Fruit Smoothies

Fruit and Melon Smoothies

Need a cool summertime treat? These fruit and melon smoothies are a great idea for adults and kids alike.

Ingredients

Strawberry Smoothie: 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup orange juice
Cantaloupe Smoothie: 2 cups cubed cantaloupe
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup milk
Watermelon Smoothie: 2 cups cubed watermelon, seeds removed
1/2 cup orange juice

Instructions

1
Be sure to clean, de-seed, remove the rinds of the fruit or melons as needed to create the smoothies.
2
To make the strawberry smoothie: Combine all of the strawberry smoothie ingredients into the blender and blend until throughly blended. I like using frozen strawberries to create a cold slush strawberry smoothie. If using fresh strawberries, add 1 cup of ice to the smoothie before blending for more of a slushy cold smoothie.
3
To make the cantaloupe smoothie: Combine all of the cantaloupe smoothie ingredients to the blender and blend until fully blended. If desired, add 1 cup of ice to the smoothie to create a cold cantaloupe slushy smoothie.
4
To make the watermelon smoothie: Combine all of the watermelon smoothie ingredients to your blender and blend until fully blended. If desired, add 1 cup of ice to the watermelon smoothie to create a cold slushy delight.
