Fresh Salisbury Steaks
One of the easiest comfort dinners to make, salisbury steak was a staple in my house growing up. I make it frequently and love the fond memories of my childhood it conjures up.

Ingredients
2 pound beef roast, cut into pieces
4 garlic cloves
1 small onion chopped
1 tbsp steak seasoning
1 egg
2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
3 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 cups sliced button mushrooms
2 cups prepared brown gravy
Instructions
1
Into your food processor with the blade attachment, place the pieces of beef, garlic cloves, onion, steak seasoning and an egg. Chop everything until finely chopped like hamburger.
2
Heat a large fry pan on the stove, spray with vegetable spray, form the patties and pan fry the salisbury steaks until fully cooked.
3
Pan fry, bake or boil your prepared potatoes and carrots.
4
Sauté the onions in a sauce pan and make the brown gravy according to the directions on the package right in with the sautéed mushrooms.
5
To serve, place a spoonful of the cooked potatoes and carrots on your plate and serve a cooked salisbury steak on top. Spoon the mushroom brown gravy over the top and enjoy.
