Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken
This is by far my favorite pasta ever. Once you’ve had homemade noodles you will not be able to have store bought noodles.
Ingredients
For the Pasta:
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup water
For the Alfredo Sauce:
3 cups heavy cream
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 tbsp Italian Herb blend
Instructions
1
To make the pasta, use the dough blade on your food processor and add the flour, salt, eggs and water. Pulse everything together until it pulls together into a soft dough. If needed, adjust the amount of water as needed.
2
Once the dough is made, use your pasta roller and roll the dough our to a level 4 thickness and then pass it through the fettuccine noodle cutter.
3
Bring a large pot to a boil and place the freshly cut noodles into the boiling water and boil for about 5 minutes or until al dente.
4
While the pasta is cooking, bring the cream, garlic and the parmesan cheese to a boil, reduce by half.
5
Add the freshly cooked fettuccine noodles to the cream and let it simmer while gently stirring for about 3 minutes to coat the pasta with the alfredo sauce.
6
Serve with a baked or grilled chicken breast and your favorite artisan bread. Enjoy!
