Falafel Balls with Tahini Sauce
Need a great appetizer or dinner idea? Whip up these falafel balls with tahini sauce.

Ingredients
For the Falafel Balls:
2 - 15 ounce can of garbanzo beans, drained
1 small onion diced
1/2 cup fresh Italian parsley, chopped
Juice and zest from one lemon
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cumin
Pinch of cayenne pepper
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
Oil for frying
For the Tahini Sauce:
1 cup tahini sauce
3/4 cup water
2 tbsp minced garlic
juice and zest of one lemon
1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Place falafel ball ingredients (minus the oil for frying) into your food processor and process until it is finely chopped and easily holds a shape. Shape into the size of a golf ball and place on a plate.
2
Preheat the oil to 350 degree’s and deep fry until the balls are golden brown.
3
To make the tahini sauce, add the ingredients for the tahini sauce into a large bowl and mix together until combined. Adjust any flavors that are needed.
4
Serve the falafel balls with the tahini sauce and enjoy! For a delicious variation, I like adding freshly chopped dill and red bell pepper to the falafel balls.
