Easy Shrimp Tacos
These easy and delicious shrimp tacos are a wonderful idea for dinner. They come together fast and can be easily adjusted to make only a few or a lot for family and friends.
Ingredients
2 dozen shrimp, shell removed and deveined
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp season salt (or to taste)
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups shredded purple cabbage
2 cups chopped iceberg lettuce
3-4 green onion, chopped
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream
1-2 tbsp hot sauce (to taste)
1 tbsp season salt or to taste
Corn tortillas
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a small bowl toss the shrimp, cornstarch and season salt together until well combine.

Heat a large sauté pan on the stove and enough olive oil to lightly coat the pan. Add the garlic and sauté until very fragrant (about 1 minute).

Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for a couple of minutes or until it is fully cooked. Remove from the stove and set aside.

In a large bowl combine the shredded purple cabbage, iceberg lettuce and the green onions tossing to combine.

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, hot sauce and the season salt. Mix everything together and pour over the slaw mixing together to combine.

Toast the corn tortillas in a hot pan and build the shrimp tacos by adding and spoonful of the freshly made slaw on the toasted corn tortilla topping with a few shrimp. Enjoy with your favorite sides and beverage.
