Caramel Apples with Toppings

Easy Caramel Apples with Toppings

Delicious and easy to make, caramel apples are a must make in the fall. Be creative with your caramel apple toppings and have fun!

Ingredients

1 pound prepared caramel
6-8 Granny Smith apples
Caramel apple stick
Toppings of your choice

Instructions

1
Melt the caramel in a microwave safe bowl. I like to microwave for 30 seconds, stir and then microwave again until the caramel is melted.
2
Wash and dry the apples, remove the apple stems if necessary and insert the caramel apple sticks into the apples.
3
When the caramel is about 140 degree’s, dip the apples into the caramel coating them completely, remove from the caramel and let any excess caramel drizzle off of the apple.
4
Roll the freshly dipped caramel apples into the toppings of your choice.
5
Place the caramel apples on a parchment lined baking sheet. Let the apples cool and set, serve and enjoy!
