Easy Bolognese Sauce with Rigatoni Pasta

Need a delicious dinner idea? Look no further than this delicious pasta dish. Easy to make bolognese sauce is both hearty and fun to make. This recipe uses Italian sausage rather than beef for lots of flavors!

Ingredients

1 pound Italian Mild Sausage
1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
5-6 garlic cloves, minced
1 small onion, minced
1 can Italian style diced tomatoes (14.5 oz can)
1 can Italian style tomato paste (6 oz can)
2 cups chicken stock
1 cup cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package rigatoni pasta

Instructions

Cook the rigatoni pasta according to the package directions, drain and se

Brown the Italian sausage, drain off any excess grease.

To the browned sausage, add the Italian seasoning, minced garlic and onion. Sauté everything together for a couple minutes.

Add the Italian diced tomatoes, tomato paste and chicken stock to the pan and stick to incorporate everything. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer allowing it to simmer for a couple of minutes.

To finish the bolognese sauce, add the cream and gently stir to incorporate. Remove from the heat and add the cooked pasta to the sauce stirring to incorporate.
