Deviled Beef Sandwiches

Deviled Beef

This delicious recipe was inspired by the creations made during the great depression. Not only is it delicious, it’s a great way to use up that leftover roast in the fridge. Never throw food out, re-purpose it into another delicious meal!

Ingredients

2 lbs leftover beef roast
1 small onion, chopped
1 dill pickle, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp whole grain mustard
1 tsp horseradish (or to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Sandwich Bread
Sandwich Makings
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1
Chop the cooked roast into 1/2 inch cubes and place in your food processor with the chopped onion, and dill pickle pulsing to chop everything into small spreadable pieces.
2
Transfer the chopped mixture to a large bowl and add the mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, whole grain mustard and the horseradish sauce mixing to combine. Adjust salt, pepper and mayonnaise as needed.
3
Spread the deviled beef onto a sandwich with your favorite sandwich fixings. Serve with chips and vegetable sticks.
