Chopped Salad with Homemade Ranch Dressing

Chopped Salad with Homemade Ranch Dressing

Here’s a simple and easy chopped salad with a delicious and simple homemade Ranch dressing. I like to serve this salad with a fresh roll on the side.

Ingredients

2 cups chopped iceberg lettuce
2 cups chopped red cabbage
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 roma tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 cups cubed cheese (your choice)
1 cup chopped dry Italian salami
For the Ranch Dressing: 1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup Ranch dressing dry mix

Instructions

1
To assemble the salad, add the chopped iceberg lettuce, chopped red cabbage, chopped green onions, chopped roma tomatoes, cubed cheese and chopped dry Italian salami to a large bowl and toss everything together to combine.
2
To make the Ranch Dressing, in a separate bowl mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk and Ranch dressing dry mix together until combined. Taste and adjust Ranch seasoning as needed.
3
Do not dress the salad before hand so it can easily be kept in the refrigerator. Serve the homemade Ranch dressing on the side and enjoy!
