Chocolate Dipped Macaroons
Ewy, gooey and chewy…these coconut macaroons are delicious by themselves, but dipped in melted milk chocolate take them over the edge!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 large egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup melted milk chocolate
1/2 cup toasted coconut
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degreeās.

In a large bowl, combine the shredded sweetened coconut, sugar, flour, salt, egg whites and vanilla. Mix everything together until combined.

On a parchment lined baking sheet, spoon about 2 tbsp macaroon batter onto your prepared baking sheet.

Bake in your preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.

Melt about 1/2 cup milk chocolate and dip the bottoms of the macaroons into the melted chocolate and then into the toasted coconut.

Place the dipped macaroons onto a parchment paper and let them set. Serve and enjoy when ready.
