Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Bowls
I love combining two of my favorite desserts to create another dessert!
Ingredients
1 pound butter, room temperature
2 cups brown sugar
1 ½ cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking soda
2 tbsp vanilla
1 package semi sweet chocolate chips (about 3 cups)
6 cups flour
1 ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Ice cream of choice
Toppings of choice
Instructions
1
To make the chocolate chip cookie dough: Cream together butter and sugars for about 3 minutes.
2
Add the eggs one at a time and completely incorporate the egg before adding the next one.
3
Add the salt, baking soda, and vanilla and blend into batter. Be sure to scrape the sides of the bowl to incorporate all of the ingredients.
4
Add the flour and blend.
5
Lastly, add the chocolate chips and blend into the batter.
6
Place a large golf ball size portion of dough in a muffin-tin (spray the the muffin-tin if needed).
7
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 11 minutes or until desired color is reached.
8
Remove the muffin-tin from the oven and using a shot glass, create a hole in the cookie by pressing down into the hot cookie dough creating an indentation.
9
Let the cookie bowl cool and then remove it from the muffin tin. Scoop your favorite ice-cream into the freshly made bowl and drizzle with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
