Chip Crumbs Chicken Nuggets
I hate throwing potato chip crumbs away, so I created this yummy recipe to use up those chip crumbs. Use any kind of chips you like to coat your chicken nuggets to create this amazing treat!
Ingredients
3 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
1 egg
1 tbsp season salt
1 cup flour
1 cup cornstarch
6 cups crushed chips (use your favorite)
1 cup French fried onions
Instructions

Place the chicken breasts, 1 egg and the season salt into your food processor. Pulse until well chopped up and combined.

Once the chicken in completely “pureed” together use a spoon and scoop out a portion or the chicken and shape into a nugget shape. Place the formed pieces on a baking sheet.

Mix the flour and cornstarch together in a small bowl. Whisk the 2 eggs in a small bowl and set aside.Crush the chips and the French onions together and place in a small bowl and set aside.

Carefully dredge the chicken nuggets in the flour mixture, dip in the eggs and dredge in the crushed chip mixture and dip once again in the eggs and finally dredge in the panko bread crumbs.

Deep fry the prepared chicken nuggets in preheated 350 degree oil for about 5 minutes or until fully cooked through. Serve with your favorite sides.
