Cheesy Spring Salad

Cheesy Spring Salad

Here’s a combination of a cheesy pizza with a spring salad. You’re gonna love this delicious cheesy spring salad!

Ingredients

For the bread dough: 4 cups flour
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 tbsp salt
2-3 cups water
Shredded cheese
For the garlic olive oil: 5 garlic cloves
1 tbsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup olive oil
For the salad: 6 cups baby arugula
1/2 cup hemp seeds
2 cups chopped kale
1 lemon, juiced
1/4 cup garlic olive oil

Instructions

To make the dough, add the flour, yeast, salt and water to your mixer and mix for about 15 minutes or until the dough is smooth.

Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl and let it double in size.

Once the dough is doubled, divide into 4 equal parts and press out about 8-10 inch round. Brush with the garlic olive oil sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Bake the dough off in a preheated 400 degree oven until golden and the cheese is bubbling.

To make the garlic olive oil: Add the garlic cloves, red pepper flakes and olive oil to your food processor and pulse together for about 1 minutes making sure everything is mixed together well.

To make the salad: Combine the arugula, hemp seeds and kale into a bowl and toss to combine with the juice of one lemon and about 1/4 cup of the garlic olive oil. To to coat and place the arugula salad on top of the cheesy bread and serve. Enjoy!
