Braised Beef Short Ribs

Ingredients
10 Beef Short Ribs
1-2 tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
1 cup red Wine
3 cups beef Stock
1 onion, sliced
5 peppercorns
3 bay leaves
1 tbsp dried thyme
Olive oil
Instructions

Heat a large pan on the stove and add enough olive oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan.

Sprinkle both sides of the beef short ribs with the steak seasoning and pan sear until there is color on both sides of the beef short ribs.

Transfer the short ribs to a slow cooker. Pour the red wine, beef stock, sliced onion, peppercorns, bay leaves and dried time over the short ribs. Slow cook the ribs for 6-8 hours on low or about 4-5 hours on high. You need to cook them until they are tender so adjust cooking times as needed.

Serve the beef short ribs with mashed potatoes, brown gravy and your favorite vegetables.
