Steak Sandwiches

Steak Sandwiches

My favorite dish I enjoyed at the State Fair was an amazing steak sandwich. Here’s my version of that sandwich.

Ingredients

4-6 thinly sliced steaks (5 oz each)
1 small red onion, sliced
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1 head iceberg lettuce
4-6 ears of corn
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheese, your choice
4-6 large buns
Season salt

Condiments, your choice
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Salt and pepper the steaks and grill until they are cooked to medium rare or whatever doneness you prefer.

When steaks are cooked, remove from the grill and place them on the buns along with your condiments of choice, sliced tomatoes, onion and lettuce.

To make the corn on the cob, boil the corn (or grill) until it is fully cooked (about 5 minutes).

Divide and spread the mayonnaise onto each ear of corn along with the shredded cheese and season salt. Serve with steak sandwiches and enjoy!
